Dr. Rohitkumar R. Patel, started his academic career in KBIPER on Aug 2022 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy Practice.

Prior to joining KBIPER, he was working as a Community Pharmacist at Kalpesh Medical and Provision store in Kalol for 2.5 Years. At KBIPER, Dr. Patel handles subjects like Pharmacotherapeutics, Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics, Clinical Pharmacy, Clinical Toxicology and Community Pharmacy of Pharm.D curriculum.

Dr. Patel is also involved in Pharm.D Clerkship and Internship as a preceptor of various departments like Medicine, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and Surgery. He has actively co-guided 4 PG projects of Pharm.D curriculum.

He has also coordinated several online and offline events of KSV KBIPER ISPOR Students chapter, several webinars, live events etc.

He has also organised various health check-up camps in and around Gandhinagar district as a part of KSV KBIPER students chapter activities, project work etc.

He is also a member of KBIPER co-curricular committee, Website and social media committee, Pharm.D & Drug Information Centre committee.
